Hui Chee and I stayed in today to work on the project and to plan our round Taiwan trip. After lunch, we went to the local bakery down the street from our homestay to get cake for dessert and the owner recognized us. She commented that there were only two of us today instead of the usual four. That was slightly sad because even she realized that two of us has left already.
Originally we were planning to go to Sun Moon Lake and Alishan but the recent earthquake makes it worrisome to visit. In other news, this is the beginning of my fourth week in Taiwan! I count the beginning of my weeks using Monday but when I look at a calendar I see the beginning as Sunday. Weird perception I guess.
